CFCB-At-Home

While we long for the day when we can all worship in the same place, we recognize that it won’t be possible for some time. Logistical limitations and health concerns call for us to adapt and look for a different way to worship. And though this practice is different from what we’re used to, it’s not new at all.

The Church was started in homes. For hundreds of years, believers would gather where they lived to worship Jesus together. Now, we look to continue that practice by equipping our members to open their homes and create sacred space centered around our live streaming service. CFCB-At-Home invites you to gather with your family and if you are comfortable, with others in your neighborhood.  We want you to establish the Church in your home and provide you with content and guidance to have at-home discipleship and worship.  Even if you attending in-person worship, you will find valuable guidance here to help you in-between services.  Even when quarantine is lifted, we want to provide you with everything you need for discipleship and worship at home throughout the regular week.

You will find the live services available on Facebook, Youtube, and our Church Center App.  Sundays are live at 10:30am and 6pm.  Sunday school adult class is live at 9:30am.  Wednesday service is live at 7pm.

How to have worship and discipleship at home?

Discipleship and worship at home may seem like a daunting task, but you won't stumble into it.  You need to start now.  Being intentional but flexible is required.

Discipleship and worship at home should take place at least once in a week.  Pastor Jeremy suggests 3-4 times and doing it during dinner or directly after at the table is a great opportunity.  The simple pieces of at-home worship include three things: Bible Reading, Prayer, and Singing.  You can do these by yourself, or with your family.  Whatever your setting or group size, you need to start to bring your body and mind into this discipline.

Minutes - The minute, hour, day, and year stewarding of our time.  Build intentional time into the rhythm of family life for the purpose of thinking about, talking about, and living out the gospel.

Moments - the seasons of life.  Leverage opportunities in the course of everyday life for the purpose of gospel-centered conversations.

Milestones - mark and make occasions to celebrate and commemorate significant milestones of God’s work in life.
